Customers are responsible for ensuring all firearms are unloaded and safe prior to drop-off or shipment. While CC will inspect firearms upon intake, we are not liable for improperly cleared or unsafe firearms received. Any firearms found to be loaded will be immediately made safe and reported as necessary, and the customer may incur a safety handling fee.
Customers are solely responsible for complying with all federal, state, and local laws regarding the ownership, transportation, and modification of firearms. CC reserves the right to decline or cancel service for any item that appears to violate applicable law or regulatory guidelines.
Cerakote & Laser Engraving Warranty
CC warrants the quality of Cerakote and laser engraving applications against defects in craftsmanship. This warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear (including holster wear)
- Negligence or misuse
- Intentional damage
Manufacturer Warranty Disclaimer
You are responsible for understanding how CC’s services may affect your product’s manufacturer warranty. The application of Cerakote or installation of aftermarket parts may void manufacturer warranties or affect guarantees related to safety, function, or reliability.
CC will make reasonable efforts to disassemble and reassemble items in accordance with manufacturer specifications and best practices. However, CC is not liable for damage incurred during this process unless caused by negligence.
Shipping to CC
- CC is not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit to our facility.
- Customers are responsible for packaging, labeling, and insuring shipments.
- All components and accessories must be declared on the project submission form. CC is not responsible for undeclared items.
Shipping from CC
- CC ships items with standard insurance and tracking.
- Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility and based on carrier rates.
- Contact us prior to shipment if you require additional insurance coverage.
- Customers are responsible for providing a correct and deliverable shipping address.
C provides estimated pricing before work begins.
- All prices are estimates and subject to change upon further inspection.
- CC will make reasonable efforts to contact you to approve additional charges if necessary.
- Final pricing may differ from the original quote.
- Orders cancelled before work begins are subject to a 10% processing fee based on the quoted subtotal, plus return shipping.
- If an order is cancelled after work has begun, the customer is responsible for the cost of work completed, plus return shipping.
CC reserves the right to charge additional fees for excessive cleaning or prep work, such as removal of:
- Excessive oil
- Adhesives
- Spray paint or other contaminants
CC aims to complete all projects in a timely manner without compromising quality. Delays may occur due to:
- Incomplete or inaccurate paperwork
- Supply chain issues
- Staff availability
CC is not responsible for delays caused by these or similar factors.
- Full payment is due upon completion of services.
- Items will not be shipped or released until payment is received in full.
Items left as a result of nonpayment, improper paperwork, or undeliverable shipping addresses are subject to storage fees.
- Items unclaimed after 14 days will begin to accrue a monthly storage fee.
- Items left unclaimed after 45 days will be considered abandoned and become the property of CC.
Customers are responsible for completing required administrative forms and responding to CC communications.
Failure to do so may result in delayed service or cancellation of the project.
CC photographs all items upon arrival and after work completion.
- These photos are the property of CC.
- CC reserves the right to use them for marketing, advertising, training, or other business purposes.
CC reserves the right to refuse service to any individual or project for any reason, including but not limited to:
- Safety concerns
- Legal issues
- Violation of company policies
- Lack of required documentation or communication
Customers are expected to inspect their items upon return.
- Any concerns regarding condition, functionality, or workmanship must be reported within 5 business days of pickup or delivery.
- Claims made after this period may not be honored.
