Join Phalanx Academy’s Defensive Training Institute for an in-depth handgun training experience, hosted right here at SafeFire. This two-day course series is designed to help shooters of varying experience levels strengthen their firearm fundamentals, manipulation skills, and marksmanship under guided instruction.

Over the weekend, participants will work through both Handgun Module I and Module II, covering:

• Foundational handgun safety and handling
• Firearm terminology and selection basics
• Marksmanship fundamentals and manipulation techniques (reloads, malfunctions, etc.)
• Practical applications of shooting fundamentals in dynamic scenarios
• Use of concealment, movement, and performance-driven drills

Whether you’re reinforcing core skills or building confidence behind the trigger, this training offers structured learning from experienced instructors in a supportive environment. Rental equipment is available by advance reservation.
