FORM 4 EFILE INSTRUCTIONS
SILENCER SHOP PURCHASES
✅ Purchase NFA Item, Tax Stamp(s), and trust options from Silencer Shop.
✅ Complete your Silencer Shop profile at Kiosk (Fingerprinting, Registration Info, ETC).
✅ Sign Docusign email once SS compliance team has verified account.
✅ Register for your ATF EFORMS account at www.eforms.atf.gov. Use the same email and registration information as your Silencer Shop account. Be sure to save your (auto-generated) EFORMS User ID and four digit pin code – You’ll need it to certify!
✅ Wait for your item to arrive at SafeFire. Sam will give you a call to schedule your certification appointment (Remotely or in person).
✅ Certify Form 4 EFILE with Sam. You will need your ATF EFORMS User ID and four digit pin code to certify. Now your wait time will officially start!
✅ Wait 8-10 months for approval. SafeFire will contact you when we receive your approval.
SAFEFIRE OR THIRD PARTY PURCHASES
✅ Purchase NFA Item and have it shipped to SafeFire, if applicable.
✅ Once your item arrives, Sam will give you a call to schedule a Kiosk appointment.
✅ Complete your Silencer Shop profile at Kiosk (Fingerprinting, Registration Info, ETC).
✅ Purchase Tax Stamp(s) and trust options from Silencer Shop (via Services tab).
✅ Register for your ATF EFORMS account at www.eforms.atf.gov. Use the same email and registration information as your Silencer Shop account. Be sure to save your (auto-generated) EFORMS User ID and four digit pin code – You’ll need it to certify!
✅ Sign Docusign email once SS compliance team has verified account.
✅ Wait for phone call from Sam to schedule certification appointment (remotely or in person).
✅ Certify Form 4 EFILE with Sam. You will need your ATF EFORMS User ID and four digit pin code to certify. Now your wait time will officially start!

Congratulations! Your wait time is officially over! Approval emails are sent to both the customer and SafeFire at the same time. Please wait for Sam to call you and let you know your suppressor is available for pickup. You will pick up your suppressor upstairs in our retail store. Please note that our retail store is closed on Sundays.
Approvals are currently sitting anywhere from 8-10 months.
