SUMMARY:From the Holster Move & Shoot
DESCRIPTION:Competitors will draw from their holsters and engage four target arrays: a Texas Star\, a plate rack\, IPSC targets\, and hanging targets. Each participant will complete three timed runs\, with the longest time being discarded. The best two times will be combined to determine the final score. \n\n\n\nGiven the use of the Texas Star\, frangible ammunition is required for this competition. To ensure compliance\, competitors must purchase frangible ammunition from SafeFire at the time of the event. \n\n\n\nThis competition is limited to handguns chambered in 9mm. Additionally\, competitors are advised against using firearms equipped with compensators\, as these have been known to cause malfunctions when using frangible ammunition. \n\n\n\nA holster qualification is required for participation. Participants who need to obtain this qualification will receive a 50% discount upon registration for the competition.

SUMMARY:Hostage Bowling Pin Shoot
DESCRIPTION:A classic competition with a SafeFire twist! \n\n\n\nA double-elimination tournament where centerfire and rimfire handgun shooters compete against each other head to head in pairs shooting at 6 white target pins and 2 penalty (or hostage) pins at a distance of 35 feet. \n\n\n\nThe first competitor to shoot all the target pins off his rack (or is ahead after 30 seconds) wins the round. The winner of each round advances forward in the winner’s bracket and the loser moves to the loser’s bracket\, allowing each competitor to lose twice before being eliminated from the competition. \n\n\n\nFirearm: Handgun ONLY\, no caliber limitation \n\n\n\nAge Restriction: >14 years old\, 22 caliber only. 16+ years old no restriction. \n\n\n\nFirst Place: $75 SaferFire Gift CardSecond Place: $50 SafeFire Gift CardThird Place: $25 SafeFire Gift Card \n\n\n\nCompetitors MUST arrive on time to attend a quick briefing on competition rules and regulations.
